I love to hear this remark especially a few minutes before the New Year begins. On top of it, I take a sip of my Veuve Clicquot and it was awful ........ This person is absolutely correct he doesn't need me as today the internet makes it easy for people to make all their travel arrangements themselves until.......
....... I can make you save 1000USD for a hotel stay... One of my regular VIP requested to book St Regis NY, 3 night stay. I advise the 3rd night is complimentary. When he told his friend he didn't believe him as he just booked online and was not offered a 3rd night complimentary.
Not only did he get a 3rd night complimentary, he got breakfast included for 2 people, an upgrade at time of booking and an 100USD food credit at the hotel. I have many stories to share with you about flights being cancelled, hurricanes at destinations, typhoons, missing flights and the list goes on and on.... With a travel agent, all you need to do is send an email or text and better yet 99% of the time I know the flight is delayed and I am there to assure and book you immediately on another flight.

If I was a Sommelier I would have known I had to chill the Champagne on ICE and it had to be super cold in order for me to enjoy it. I lost a 70$ bottle due to thinking I knew what I was doing:)
