Food walking tour in Matera
(10:00 pick up) An original discovery tour of the Sassi of Matera, alternating with gourmet stops to delight us with some traditional products. An archaeological historical journey, with a gastronomic focus dedicated to the products of the local cuisine, hearing about the origin and features of each of them. A gourmet tour for fans of typical local products: wine, cheese, liquors, bakery products, crispy peppers, pastry.

19 August: The diary farm near Martina Franca (Masseria Cappella 11.00am) One of the products Puglia is famous for is fresh cheese: mozzarella, burrata, scamorze, caciocavalli. Near the small town of Martina Franca we will have the opportunity to visit Masseria Cappella where for 3 generations the owner family has been carrying on traditional productions, telling the story of the area. You can visit the dairy to assist in the processing, and then delight yourself with a tasting of freshly made cheeses. A taste you won't soon forget!

August the 22. Cooking class in Lecce (you can start between 4.00pm-5.30pm)
Living a holiday in Italy also means discovering the typical dishes of the area. Puglia boasts a tradition of ancient dishes and typical products that delight the palates of travelers. It will be fun and interesting to prepare typical dishes together with Gianna in his cooking school in the historic center of Lecce. We will learn to prepare some traditional dishes that the cook will choose for us.
Ciceri e tria, or sagne ncannulate with tomatoes and cacioricotta, or the rustico leccese, … The peasant cuisine, the dishes of the locals, the genuine ingredients, ... at the end of the workshop, we will taste the delicacies we have prepared, accompanied by a good Salento wine.. An unforgettable experience in authentic locations!
